I enjoy the art of conversation and connecting people. Successful real estate investing naturally led to becoming a licensed REALTOR in my 20's and a broker by 31 while building and running The Kerissa Payne Team. I became a (national real estate chain) franchise owner in 2012 and built my team to be one of the top teams in East Texas. I sold my office and opened a few new ventures. I am a serial entrepreneur and have been involved in a few start-ups from real estate tech to the oil & gas industry. I’ve been a partner in a children’s retail boutique, sold health products via radio ads, traveled the US pitching a real estate tech company to venture capitalists, I’ve owned 2 real estate brokerages, and own an Airbnb currently. I have invested and flipped homes personally for the last 23 years while selling over 1000 homes with The Kerissa Payne Team. I was born and raised in East Texas and chose to raise my family there for 23 years, but now live in north Dallas. I have an excellent working knowledge of East Texas and DFW. I have enjoyed working with a menagerie of clients from people needing to sell their family homes to multi-million dollar developments. I have been a multi-million dollar producer and consistently hit my goals year over year. I attained the Executive Club Award in 2013, 100% Club Award in 2014, and the Platinum Club Award in 2015. The Kerissa Payne Team was recognized as one of the top 500 Teams in the State of Texas, the top 250 teams in the state, and as one of the Top 20 Teams in the Vanguard Council. The Kerissa Payne Team was also recognized as one of America's Best Agents by REAL Trends beginning in 2015 and various years thereafter. I attained the Prestigious Hall of Fame Award in 2016 in which fewer than 23% of Agents ever earn and also obtained the Platinum Club Award in 2015 & 2016.
